What happens at my first appointment?
Before your treatment begins I will spend some time building up a picture of your health & lifestyle, which ensures that the treatment is tailored to your own individual needs. After the treatment, feedback can be given and documented in order that an on-going picture can be established.
How often should I have a Reflexology treatment?
The length of relief a Reflexology treatment can offer you is very individual, but initially five to six treatments, taken once a week would be ideal. This can then be tailored to a maintenance treatment periodically, once the desired effect has been achieved.
Is Reflexology painful?
Although Reflexology is non intrusive, sometimes it can be beneficial to work deeply on the blockage of crystals which can be felt in the areas of the feet where the corresponding body part is suffering imbalance. This will only ever be done within your pain threshold.
What should I wear for Reflexology treatment?
You will only be asked to remove your shoes and socks, so wear anything you are comfortable in.
Is my treatment confidential?
Yes. Your treatment will never be discussed by the therapist. If you wish for me to discuss your treatment with anyone else I will need your permission first.
What if I fall asleep?
It is not uncommon for many clients to fall asleep during a treatment, it is not a problem, and show’s how genuinely relaxing the treatment is. You will be gently woken up at the end and given time to gather yourself together before needing to get up.
How will I feel after the Reflexology treatment?
Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term aches and pains, or emotional issues like anxiety. People often experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity, which can last for days.
